Information service

The NCBA team provides information and advice to resource centre visitors or by telephone and email.

Our quarterly magazine, NoISe, is produced and provided free to visually impaired people. It is available in large print, Braille and audio formats and gives up-to-date information and advice on all things sight-related, including details about new services, equipment, forthcoming events and readers' experiences.

We also provide awareness training tailored to suit, Information and Equipment open days and our Yellow Book, which provides useful information such as contact numbers, support services and general good practice guidelines.

We are currently developing our information service under our Key Communications project, which is lottery funded for five years from December 2013 to November 2018.
