Sightline
Northumberland County Blind Association has set up an innovative telephone support service named Sightline, the service has been designed to support newly registered blind and partially sighted people and those who are isolated or still coming to terms with the practicalities of their sight loss.
Vision impaired volunteers and their clients are linked by telephone in their own homes, when volunteers they can pass on valuable hints and information they have gathered or just have a friendly chat with their clients.
