Information Day
Northumberland County Blind Association is holding an Information Day at Reiver House, Staithes Lane, Morpeth on Wednesday 21st August 2013 from 11am – 3.30pm.
The day is aimed at providing information to people with sight impairment, their carers and interested professionals.
There will be a wide range of organisations attending the event. Organisations will provide information and advice and demonstrate low vision equipment including; electronic magnifiers, computer and mobile phone software, talking books, and much more.
The Action for Blind People team will be on board the Information Bus to offer advice and assistance.
Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of the Northumberland County Blind Association will be held on Monday 9th September 2013 between 11am and 12 noon.
